Pregnancy while on Methotrexate?

Has anybody found out they were pregnant by mistake while on Methotrexate(drug to treat rheumatoid Arthritis in low doses and Cancer in high dose) Did you have to have am abortion or did you have the baby with/without complications?

You should really consult your doctor about this and not take information about something serious from people who are not educated on this subject...

**I just looked it up and it said NOT to take it while pregnant and that it can cause birth defects. It is used to terminate pregnancy and used to treat ectopic pregnancy. It works by decreasing the rate of cell growth (which is why it is used for cancer), so if you get pregnant, the fetus will not be able to develop properly.
