methotrexate. has anyone had this shot?

I was diagnosed with trophoblastic disease and have to have a few treatments of the methotrexate, which I know is a form of chemo.. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect during and after the shot... Thanks!

Methotrexate is a drug that targets those abnormal cells and keeps them from multiplying in your body. Much care must be practiced when taking this medication since it can also be dangerous when an overdose is taken.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, blurring of vision, bleeding of gums, dizziness, etc. These conditions may or may not occur after the first treatment. Should these conditions worsen, you need to go to your doctor as soon as possible.
