i'm 16, pretty average. basically everyone in my grade has body hair, armpit hair, etc etc. i'm on humira, and i saw that it can cause hair loss. is this preventing me from having armpit hair and growing hair anywhere else?
It is possible that the absence of body hair could be related to humira. In fact, some have the worst case where they experience complete hair loss or something like alopecia areata universalis.
Although body hair is androgen-mediated, we cannot eliminate the possibility that it is drug related especially if you have been taking the drug prior to puberty.
