How does someone feel after their first Remicade infusion
My close friend has Ulcerative Colitis and is getting their first Remicade treatment next week. We have tickets to a concert and they will get their infusion two days before the concert. Will they feel like going this soon afterwards or do you not feel any different at all?
Usually, infusion reaction happens within to 2 hours after the infusion. Some patients say that they experienced having a rash on the infusion site which lasted for days, some have more adverse reaction that they opt to take a day off on the day of infusion. Your friend should consult his doctor whether it would be safe to travel, or are there any precautions post-infusion.
