Can Daflon 500mg be taken while on Remicade (Infliximab)

Hi,

I am a sufferer of Ulcerative Colitis, I am on 400mg Remicade (Infliximab) every 8weeks.

I have an Abscess in my jaw and have just been to the doctor's, they prescribed Clamoxyl (Antibiotic) and Daflon 500mg.

I know I am ok to take the antibiotics but I was wondering about the Daflon, as it may be an anti-inflammatory(?) and I know they are a no no...

Any advice as to whether I can take Daflon while on Remicade would be much appreciated.

The manufacturer of Daflon reports no known interactions between daflon and other therapeutic agents.

From what I read from Daflon's literature, it is not an anti-inflammatory. It's a phlebotonic drug and a vascular protecting agent with diosmin (450 mg) and 10% flavonoids (50 mg) expressed as Hesperidin as its ingredient.
