If I give myself a Humira injection in the wrong place, will it kill me
Maybe "kill" is strong (or is it?). I usually have a nurse friend give it to me because it's a very painful medication (I don't mind needles), but she's been under the weather. My joints are starting to swell like balloons and I need a plan.
I'm not a nurse (but an excellent patient!)
If I give this thing to myself, but it doesn't go perfectly (it is my first attempt) ,what's the worst that can happen?
Swelling in the injection site is expected for a day or two, you can manage that by using a towel soaked with cold water on the injection site. However, if it exists longer than that, you should see a doctor.
