questions about the shot Methotrexate for tubal pregnancy...
i got my injection today for what was not quite yet a tubal (b/c i'm so early), but was forming one. my HCG levels are only 541... how long will it take to get my #'s back to 0? and how long until your periods go back to normal once that happens? thanks guys!
Usually, the hCG level drops within a week after the first dose of MTX, if not, you will be given another dose of methotrexate. Sometimes acceptable levels or zero is achieved by patients after 5-6 weeks.
