Remicade - Crohn's disease
I just recently started remicade infusions a month ago due to my crohn's disease. However I'm not sure if I should continue. Always after the infusions, I feel a lot better for a week. Then Im in so much pain until a week before my next infusion. For example it has been 4 weeks since my last infusion. The 1st week I felt better, then the 2nd and 3rd week I was in so so much pain, even more pain than before I started remicade, then the 4th week I feel better. Except since I started air comes out when I pee and sometimes my urine color is a little brown. I'm deciding whether or not to go to my next infusion. Is the pain I get just temporary? Why am I only out of pain the first week of the infusion and the last week before I get my next infusion? Should I stop remicade or should I continue going?

Remicade (Infliximab) is used for Crohn's. Common side effects do include chest pain along side many other side effects e.g. fatigue, diarrhoea.

Normally people on remicade are given pain killers to overcome the pain. If standard analgesics such as paracetamol are not strong enough then ask your doctor to prescribe a stronger pain killer
