Folic Acid: Does it Help With Methotrexate Nausea/Tiredness

I've recently started Methotrexate and wondering for those have been on both, did it help with the nausea side effect?

For those have taken Folic Acid before, does it take effect straight away or will I have to be on it for X amount of days before I notice a difference?
