How long are you supposed to have vaginal bleeding after being injected with methotrexate

I had an ectopic pregnancy abot 3 weeks ago and i continue to have vaginal bleeding sometimes it stops and then it continues again have someone ever had this problem if so or if someone have the answers can you fill me in.
