Methotrexate & Misoprostol (MTX) abortion
how does a Methotrexate & Misoprostol (MTX) abortion procedure work (first seven weeks of pregnancy)?

its 2 pills. you take the first at the doctors office, then the other one like 24 hours later. soon after that you start cramping like bad menstrual cramps, and then you start bleeding and you pass blood clots. about two weeks after you take the pills you have to have a follow up visit with your doctor to make sure the abortion was complete. if it wasn't you must get the standard D&C procedure to remove whatever was left behind.

I don't know but if you're thinking about having an abortion choose adoption instead.

is this the abortion pill? if so basically starts labor, but you're so early that blood clots start coming out.

it forces your body to have something similar to a period flushing out the baby with it.

Misoprostol causes the cervix to soften and the uterus to contract, resulting in the expulsion of the uterine contents.
