have high uric acid - not gout. doctor prescribed
allopurinol.

any side effects??

any natural solutions - besides the cherry juice??
any luck with folic acid??

There is a nasty liquid that they can prescribe that makes you want to barf and makes your lips pucker. But the pill is easier. And more effective. I suggest you read the side effect list that comes with your prescription and discuss any side effects that you experience with your doctor. A little upset stomach can be less bothersome than stones and can be managed with some tums. Talk to your doctor please.
