    Default Methotrexate and rheumatoid arthritis

I have started taking methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritis, and have been told there are a number of side affects through taking this medication. I have been on this now for seven weeks and so far have no side affects. Is there anyone on YA who takes this med and has any affects from it, and also has anyone found that there RA has improved through taking methotrexate.

You're lucky. I have RA, but not severe enough for methotrexate. The one person I knew that did take it had a really bad reaction and no relief at all. Good luck...wish I could offer more advice...but I think you're doing well.
