Been on ambien everynight for the past year and a half wondering what consequences this can hold
The drug works wonders for me every night. A year and a half ago I had chronic insomnia, actually I've had insomnia my whole life, but a year and a half ago it started getting really bad. And since then I've been taking ambien every night. I'm just concerned what this can do to my brain and liver in the long run. My doctors don't comment much about it, but I know they are suppose to be promoting the stuff, not discouraging people. As of the moment, I'am trying to get rid of my depressant/anxiety, for I feel that is the root cause of my insomnia. But if worse comes to worse, and I still can't fall asleep via my anxiety/depressant medication, will taking ambien for like the rest of my life every night hold deep consequences? Thanks. And please don't tell me to meditate, and not worry, to promote sleepiness. That's bull.
