What happens if you're dependent on Ambien and then you suddenly stop
I know some of the side effects for Ambien include changes in appetite, mood, and many other things that have to do with emotions. Ambien can also be addictive...but what if someone became dependent on it and then after noticing personality changes, instead of taking a smaller dose, they just stop and go cold turkey? What are the symptoms of that, and what's the harm?
There could be great harm if you abruptly stop taking the Ambien. You need your doctos help to wean you slowly off of the medication. You would suffer withdrawal symptoms which can be very dangerous. And you would suffer an inability to sleep as your system is accustomed to having the Ambien force sleep. Please talk to your doctor before stopping!
