If my friend over dosed on my prescribed Ambien pills and he died, am I responsible

My friend wants some of my Ambien CR. If he got sick or died, will I face any charges?

its illegal to give out your prescription meds, Ambien is a very dangerous drug especially mixed with alcohol, if your going to give your friend Ambien only give him one and make sure he doesn't drink with it, also make sure he lies down in bed minutes after taking the pill, if someone takes ambien and stays up they can act very odd, driving, drinking using the phone etc. while on ambien and not remembering doing it or being in control of ones actions is common and can lead to all kinds of problems
