Can medications to treat high blood pressure, including Bisoprolol Fumarate, Ramipril, and Amlodipine, ...
affect the libido?
If they do, is there anything to do other than be resigned?

Theres the possibility of impotence in men and general decreased libido but tends to vary greatly on a person to person basis

The bisoprolol fumarate is a beta blocker and will slow down your heart rate. This means less blood going to your extremities which means a lower sex drive. For the same reason, it can make you depressed because less oxygenated blood is going to your head. This drug is so your heart doesn't have to work as hard.

The Ramipril and Amlodipne should dilate your blood vessels increases blood flow to all areas of your body. I found an increase in libido and erections because of this. I also found my thinking more clear. Downside, this can make you feel flushed and give you headaches. The betablocker you take helps prevent these side affects.

I'd talk to your doctor about each medication seperately. Diuretics can cause erection problems if they give you them.

I take two out of those three - certainly haven't noticed any decrease in mine! In fact, I feel so much better I think it has gone up!
