I am on a beta-blocker for high blood pressure and tachycardia, but it only works but BP is not lowered by it.
i am on propronolol and the medicine does not help with by high blood pressure, it only helps my tachycardia, why would this be?

There are some times when a single drug will not work for you, maybe you need to have propranolol combined with another effective antihypertensive. Raise this concern with your doctor and he/she will give you more insights. Also proper diet and exercise can help further prevent hypertension.
