Ordinary dietary sources shouldn't cause an interaction.

In people with a potassium deficiency, taking additional potassium can lower blood pressure - reducing the need for the propranolol and potentially leading to circulatory problems from too low blood pressure.

If you suspect you may have a potassium deficiency, talk with your doctor about getting a blood test for it.

Otherwise, don't worry about eating the occasional banana or potato.
