Beta Blockers
You can see everywhere written "don't stop taking BBS suddenly!!', why is that, what is the worse ore anything that could happen. Not the negative side effects but the consequences of sudden stop. Can anyone tell me? can you actually die?

If your body needs these beta blockers to maintain their blood pressure within normal levels as well as the making the cardiac rhythm regular, suddenly stopping this medication may lead to a sudden increase in blood pressure as well as an increase and irregular cardiac rhythm, especially if the body is not yet fully treated. When this happens, it may actually lead to shock, and if not treated at once, may probably lead to the person's death. This is the reason why it is written everywhere to not stop taking them suddenly. If the doctor sees that your body does not need it anymore, it will gradually decrease its dosage until the body gets used to not having it anymore.
