beta blocker and thyroid side effects.?

I have been on synthroid for 2 days for hashimoto's.
My endocrinologist also put me on a beta blocker for rapid heart rate and high blood pressure.
The first day I took the synthroid I was fine but the second dose
gave extreme headaches that would not go away.
I contribute this to my blood pressure.
After taking the beta blocker I started throwing up for 4 hours.
I tried to reach my doctor but he was out and the nurse did not
call back. Going to the er is hard because I have 3 small children,that are hard to control.
I am wondering if anyone has experienced these symptoms
as well. Thanks!
