i think i might be pregnant, should i stop taking my birth control? i also take beta blockers! ?

Im scared to tell my boyfriend so he mite think its odd if i suggest we start using condoms. yeah i will have to goto the doctors, i stopped having periods 6 months ago due to the pill so dont know when to test. can the doctor tell me sooner than a test?

I would say no. At least not until you are tested and for sure. Unless, of course, you want a baby! lol

Your doctor is the best person to ask, however, if you think you are pregnant, stop the birth control pills, use condoms (in case you're not) and see your doctor about the beta blockers and a pregnancy test.

A note on taking birth control pills with beta blockers: Birth control pills may increase the effectiveness of beta blockers. A decreased dose of the medication may be needed.

You can opt to do a take home pregnancy test while you can't see a doctor. Then have the result confirmed, whether it's negative or positive.
