Can I take propranolol 80mg twice in one day?

I'm nervous about something happening tomorrow, and i normally get nervous and panic the night before.

I took a propranolol tablet this morning thinking it would be okay to take another around 7 pm.

But now I'm unsure. I cant remember what dosage I was told to take by my doctor, as i was given them a few years ago.
