Can propranolol affect your periods?
I am 16, i started my periods when i was 14 years old. I have panic attacks and in march i was prescribed propranolol for anxiety. I had my period early after i started taking them and that normally never happens because i am normally 2 or 3 weeks late. But now since march i haven't had a period for 21 weeks. I cant go to the doctors because it makes me severely ill. There is no way i am pregnant and i have put on weight since taking then. I was wondering whether anyone can tell me whether it is my tablets or whether it could be something else

I don't think its the medicine, that has actually been studied. So start looking elsewhere (try the link)You say you know you can't be pregnant. Is this because you've been a good girl or because you've practiced safe sex?

Propranolol is not known to alter menstrual cycle. I agree with Mike R, it might be caused by something else (stress, etc.). Best to consult with your doctor just to be sure.
