I have been perscribed beta blockers for anxiety and I am wondering if it is a good idea to exercise heavily (like for an hour) whilst using them? I probably should of asked the doctor, but i forgot to : S
Remember, a beta blocker lowers your BP and at the same time your heart rate. Don't do anything vigorous or you will just increase you BP and heart rate back to what if was when you first started the beta blockers. Waling on a treadmill is good. Biking on a exercise bike or walking around the block at a slow rate would be perfect. Nothing to strenuous.
