Asthma ventolin salbutamol inhaler causing problems

I've had asthma since i was seven and have always used the same inhaler i'm now sixteen and recently my inhaler has changed so it is cfc free, only now i'm suffering from a really sore throat that i think has something to do with the new now cfc free inhaler? Has anyone else had any allergic reactions? I know i should probably go to the doctor but i just want your opinions first, and what other types of inhalers do you use?

I get a sore throat too. It's really sucky.
Try and wash your mouth out or brush your teeth after using your inhalers. This should really help.
If this doesn't improve the sore throat, Defineitely go back to the doctor and discuss the problems your having.

I use a Severent inhaler as well as a steroid one (but I can't remember what it's called, sorry!)
