ephedrine for 15 year old
my little brother is overweight and simply cant resist food. i wrote up a diet and exercise plan for him and i was thinking of giving him an 8 mlg tablet of ephedrine 3 times aday. thats a very small dose, the same as in asthma medication i'm pretty sure. just to control his apatite.

please don't reply if u dont know what ur talking about.
i should mention that some asthma medications for kids contain about 25mlg of ephedrine, and thats considerd a low dosage

no. absolutely dont do that. especially at his age!
i started taking diet pills at a young age and now i'm only 18 and i have the metabolism of a 60-year old. that stuff messes your body up for life and you'll regret it.
he'll lose weight when he decides to start making healthy choices.

ephedrine is not safe. It speeds up the heart. Don't give it to him.
There have been cases of death related to ephedrine use.

A younger person has a bigger chance of losing weight without the aid of medications such as ephedrine. Sometimes, it may just need more support to help the weight loss along or more encouragement. Try looking into the reason for the non-resistance of food.

Although asthma medications contain ephedrine, they don't take it everyday. Just whenever attacks occur. Giving your brother 24 mg a day, for several days is already high, considering there is no actual condition to cure. He will just become attached to the medication to lose weight. Stopping it will just bring all the weight back. It would be better to do the weight loss gradually, with his full cooperation of course. You cannot force someone to lose weight.

Hope this helps.
