I was doing research on Ephedrine for weight loss and included in warnings it states to do not take if you have a thyroid disease. I cannot find out the reasoning for this, what effect does this have? If anyone has any answers I would appreciate it.
Those suffering from thyroid dysfunctions, high blood pressure or cardiac irregularities should not be taking this drug, as it will certainly not mix well with such conditions. Ephedrine affects thyroid metabolism.
