How do you properly dispose of expired epinephrine shots
My son has a peanut/tree nut allergy and severe asthma and his epipen shots just expired again and I cannot remember what I'm supposed to do with them. Momnesia creeps upon me again.

To dispose of an expired auto-injector and carrier, take it to your doctor's office or to a hospital for proper disposal.

Just the chemical epi? No syringes or anything? It can go down the sink or into the garbage can.
