Is it okay to take albuterol a day before you take an antibiotic?
So yesterday I took one puff of my inhaler for wheezing.
And ended up going to the doctor for strep throat and they gave me Azithromycin Tablets. I took one today. Would i be okaaay?
Or would the inhaler from yesterday interfere?

Taking azithromycin and albuterol may result in elevated risk of ventricular arrhythmias. However, these effects may be more common when the drugs are administered systemically or when recommended dosages are exceeded. Nevertheless, you are advised to seek medical attention if you experience symptoms that could indicate the occurrence of torsades de pointes such as dizziness, palpitations, or syncope.

As to your question whether the previous day's dose of albuterol may affect the antibiotic the next day, it's hard to tell since the half-life of albuterol can't be determined precisely. Approximately 72% of the inhaled dose is excreted within 24 hours in the urine, so if you get to take azithromycin the next morning, it can still get an interaction.
