    Default CBSA Question

A package I received Friday was opened by Customs, but they let it pass through.

Has anyone else had this happen? I didn't even notice the yellow cbsa tape until this morning.

@jabone747 - While I personally haven't this situation happen to me - I've definitely read in other threads about members having packages from IOPs opened by customs, then re-sealed w/ that COLORFUL tape and then sent along on their merry away - I guess it must be pretty much the luck of the draw - Some customs inspectors probably just don't see the point in confiscating small amounts of pharmaceuticals while others do - Consider yourself VERY lucky!

Thanks! I've also kind of wondered if theyre letting products from certain vendors pass due
To negligible amounts of an active ingredient. Although the vendor i ordered from is reputable.

It happened to me once. The meds were prescription but not anything controlled or abusable. My take on it was they were just "letting me know that they know" and since it wasn't anything serious they sent them along.
