I do not build up tolerance easily for opiates, so codeine 60mg (no apap) has helped with fibromyalgia that I have....unfortunately my mother is the opposite, as she has fibromyalgia as well and is on morphine sulfate IR 30mg and hydrocodone/apap to supplement as well....

Yeah, My dr prescribed Opana ER for me and I didn't think it was doing much until I ran out and realized the pain was WAY worst without it. The real relief for the breakthru pain only comes with Soma and hydro taken together and I can get stuff done. Now to find me something for breakthru pain...

I wish I had figured out how to start an new thread, cuz every time I see this one I. start dreaming about favorite drugs, all different kinds, not just pain meds.
I still enjoy reading this!
I liked the old formula Oxycontin Purdue 40 mg yellow & 80 mg green pills. The other medication for less severe pain that works well is Norco 10/325.
Just me .02 cents

those yellow 10/325 pers are pretty good.... Alot of watson brand you are actually only having about 75% of the active ingredient taking affeect. Its a warning label on those bulk bottles.

Sorry...got kicked out of typing in high school, and yes it was called typing not texting. I am not even remotely close. In work, high shool employees frequentlly do data entry for me (boss orders this) for accuracy and input error controls are kept to minimum this way. I wiosh I had tussionex (old OLD formula before antihistamine was changed. It was great (BID dosed).... Older family member preferred this to top shelf liquor (used to reasonably easy for some to get from doc). I loved it, but much different now. Dad said it would really zonk him out after it was changed.....
sorry, probably wrong thread, but formulation has changed.

I am not so happy with time released meds cuz when I need to do something, I want to be able to go and do it. They are good if you also have break thru meds but unfortuately you get a tolerence then you always feel like you are trying to catch up just to reach a point where it is possible to go do something.

need to reread cuz I want to have sweet dreams!

I thought cutting back on Tylenol would be best but I find Norco, which is less tylenol does not help as well as hydrocodone with at least 500mg tylenol and ER meds once you have them it is hard to do without!
