I took 16 mg of prednisone on Monday March 22, 8mg on Tuesday March 23, and 4 mg on Wednesday of March 24,

I went to a Doctor yesterday who wants me to have a ANA blood test for possible MG., will the prednisone I took over a week ago affect this?
It was prescribed by my family doctor for sinus infection and allergies. I didn't think to mention to the other Doctor that ordered the test as it caught me off guard till I came home., but I called the doctors office and he will get back to me with an answer., thank you

ummm, why didn't you ask the doc? was the prednisone unprescribed? I don't think it will still effect tests at this point, but I confess I don't really know. It would be good to tell the doctor in case.
