Does anyone else on here take Prednisolone for PMR
If so, do you have any side effects that you find unpleasant and if so, what? I have been taking them since September last year and at first I did not seem to have any side effects. Recently though I have been really edgy, depressed and for no reason, get the shakes. Could it be the tablets after taking them so long. Thanks.
I got put on these from my Dr huge doses when I started and the side affects were bad, I ended up on these things for the past 10 years, my Dr seemed to forget I was on them although every month I got a new prescription, I have weaned myself down from 25Mg's a day down to 1mg per week, this has been a very long process, unfortunately my body does not want to relinquish this last 1mg as my bodies own defences do not kick in.
Do not suffer as I did go back to your Dr and tell him of any side affects and that you do not want to be addicted to steroids for the rest of your life,hope I have helped
