Started Prednisolone 30mg 5 days ago, seemed to be easing Colitis but now very loose motions,light headedness
Son just been disgnosed with Colitis and started on Prednisolone 30mg daily. Everything seemed to be getting better last few days with his stools but now this?
Any help appreciated.

That is a big dosage. I've been on Prednisilone for over 20 years for arthritis and my current dosage is 6 mgs per day. While I am never constipated I'm not "very" lose either. You need to see your doctor as soon as possible as they may not be suitable for him. Prior to Prednisilone I was on Voltarol which caused a bleeding of my stomach and subsequent pernicious anaemia for which I am now on Vitamin B12 injections for the rest of my life so try to avoid if possible.
