Calm down.
By overreacting you cause histamines to come to the
surface of your skin and this is what causes redness.
Secondly, Derms don't usually administer kenalog
for "zits". Kenalog is a corticosteroid and is used for
more serious ailments such as erythema nodosom,
pyoderma gangrenosa or lichen planus...the list is
extensive.
Wash the area with MILD SOAP and tepid water.
Then cleanse with a DAB and I do mean a DAB
of alcohol. That should help it to dry out. DO NOT
SQUEEZE IT AS IT CAN BECOME SYSTMIC AND
SPREAD. DO NOT COVER IT.
Take 25mg (one pill) of benedryl in the evening as it
can make you sleepy. That should also help to dry it out.
If this does not respond, go back to your Derm.
