Boyfriend prescribed Corticosteroids. Already scared of agro side-effects.?

Hi All,

My boyfriend has been medically prescribed corticosteroids for a platelet / blood condition that is currently being further investigated.

The Dr warned him of side effects, be it rage, mania, depression etc.

It's only day two of the medications and tonight he went completley feral at me. Screamed and yelled at me three times (which is not in his character at all).

Im not looking for sympathy or people telling me to get over it. This is obviously a difficult time and he requires my full support while we try and get him all fixed up.

I wonder how you all would deal or cope with this type of situation? He is terrifying when he is this way (he is a big big boy!!) and I wonder what is the best way to deal with it with out making it worse, if you know what I mean?
