Metformin dosage question?

My dr was discussing Metformin with me and said she would probably start me off at 500mg for the first week, 1000 the second, and then 1500 the 4th until further notice.

What is your dosage? Did you dr start you off like that too?
I'll be taking it for PCOS related problems and we are ttc!

Did you try Metformin with Clomid? When would we begin discussing Clomid?

Yeah thats normal. I started on 2x's a day with 500mg and gradually moved up. Good news is when I got off the BCP I got pregnant with just Metformin just a month and a half later! I'm 9 weeks now. Good luck!
