I have PCOS does the change in your insulin while on clomid or metformin help you to loose weight?
Hmmm. I have PCOS and they RECOMMENDED that I take Metformin but I actually didn't. I think that all they do is balance out the hormones that is rejecting the insulin. This might help you to lose weight but I don't think it will actually cause you to lose weight.
It can definitely help. Just to what extent or how much you will lose will depend on your body's metabolism. Metformin increases the cell's sensitivity to insulin, therefore lowering down its levels. Clomid helps with the hormones.
