A important Metformin question
I have polycystic ovaries and my gyn prescribe metformin to try to help reduce my weight and help me ovulate since birth control makes me very sick...I was wondering is metformin enough to make me ovulate or would to take something else...I've been taking metformin for over a month and I still really haven't seen a change yet...how long does it take to work?

It does take a while for Metformin to start working. However, some women (like me) don't ovulate on it. I also have PCOS. I take 2000mg of Metformin daily. I have been taking it since feb 5th, and haven't noticed any differences. I have read it can take up to several months to notices any changes if at all.
