Do you have PCOS and are on/have been on Metformin

For any of you ladies that have PCOS and have been on Metformin.

How long did it take for your cycles to regulate and for you to start ovulating?

I started takin Metformin in late June of 07, I conceived my daughter on 7/7/07 so no more than a few weeks later I was not only ovulation, but pregnant. I now have a 1 year old baby girl. I took Metformin for the first trimester and stopped after that. Everything went fine. I have had regular periods since I had my daughter, and I am not sure if I am able to get pregnant on my own because we are currently not trying. But, if I have issues in the future I will not hesitate to get a perscription for Metformin. I wish you the best of luck! ~ Shannon from RI

Wow, that was fast. I would definitely take this medication. I've been TTC for more than 6 months now.
