i forgot to take my metformin tablet this morning im supposed to take 2 850mg tablets a day should i take two now or would that be bad?

as long as you are getting your prescription and dosage for the day you should be fine but call your doctors office to be safe

Taking 2 together can make you extremely nauseous. It's best to just take 1 & then start tomorrow taking 2 again.

No. Take one now and one tonight. Never take all at once.

I wouldn't suggest taking 2 at once because it will upset your stomache. My doctor had me on 1 a day for a week so my body could get used to it. I will say the first week I started taking 2 a day I had the worst burning diarrhea and stomach pain omg. Luckily it went away and I was able to take them with no discomfort. It was all worth it in the end because I got pregnant 3 weeks after I started Metformin. Now I have a 1 year old girl who is everything I ever wished for.
