I have PCOS will me not taking metformin make the clomid less effective!

i was diagnosed with high fsh and lh levels and my doc said that i was gonna need a little help ttc so she prescribed me clomid...!!!!! do i need metformin will not taking it make it less effective

Not really. When taken together, both metformin and clomid complement each other. When taken separately, they can stand alone, with no decrease in its effect.

Clomid actually acts on these hormones by regulating their levels. It is okay to take it without metformin. You will be given metformin should this medication not act accordingly.
