pcos & dont ovulate. baby#1 on clomid, metformin, & estrodial. ttc #2 other options besides clomid

i have PCOS and was told that i dont ovulate. when i got prego with baby #1 i was on clomid, metformin, and estrodial. i was also going in 1x/mo so they could take blood and check my pegestrone. my hubby and i are ttc baby #2 and have had no luck. my insurance wont cover clomid so i wanted to try some other options first. has anyone had this type of experience? does anyone have an ideas of different things i could try instead of clomid or perscriptions. my dr also wants to make me wait 2 yrs before looking at trying fertility treatment again...i dont want to wait that long. any help or ideas are great...i was thinking about vitex...or herbs...not good with needles!!! thanks!!

I was in the same situation when ttc #1 and #2. Clomid works for me, so that is what I went with again with #2. Make sure your pharmacy carries the generic for Clomid....much less expensive. Also, it doesn't hurt to check prices at other pharmacies.
