has anyone had issues with carbohydrates and metformin. It seems like every time i eat carbs. (alittle more than usual) i am running to the bathroom,! I just want to know your experiences with this med. It seems like all i can eat is a high protein diet. Someone please help me!!!
I've been on metformin for years and still causes me to have the runs when I eat carbs, salads or fatty foods. Best thing is to avoid those things whenever possible.
