Can you take charcoal tablets with metformin
I take 1500 mg of metformin a day and suffer from flatulence. Can I safely take charcoal tablets. The pharmacist doesn't seem to know.

Is the flatulence a side effect of Metformin or something that you have suffered ever since? Charcoal tablets can help and taking them with metformin is safe. Just take them in intervals and not together.
