does anyone know whether st johns wort will interact with appetite supressant

pill - hoodia gordonii? I have been taking st johns wort from 'holland and barratt' 3 tabs per day, for 1 week, so not had any positive effects from it as yet. I want to start taking an appetite supressant called 'hoodia gordonii' to lose a couple of stones in weight, also from holland and barratt. does anyone now if the two products will interact with one another? thanks

they should be ok to take together the main medication you have to aviod taking with st johns wart are the contraceptive pill and other prescribed anti depressents. hoodia just helps you to feel more full so you eat smaller meals.so should be fine i study herbal remedies and no people who have taken them both at the same time.

most vitamins take between 1-3 months to work, you will need to ask your dr if the two are safe to take together.
