How does Hoodia interact with prescription drugs?

I am taking Lisinopril for Blood Pressure, and Flexeril for a lower lumbar injury. Because of a much lower activity level, I have gained a few pounds, and I have chosen the much talked about "Hoodia" and a healthy diet plan, to lose those added pounds. I have also asked my pharmacist of any risks.She told me that she has not heard of any adverse effects of Hoodia mixed with any prescription drug.Just to be on the safe side, I would like to know more about it.Can anyone give me a more difinitive answer?

Hi. Actually that's one of the many concerns of those who are a little bit skeptical of hoodia. No question about its use among the Sans Bushmen tribe but how about it use on people like use who may have use a lot of over-the-counter or prescription drugs which may have a negative interaction with hoodia? I have tried looking at different unbiased sites, hoping to find the answer to your question, but still no direct answer. One site advised not to take hoodia without asking your doctor if you're hypertensive, diabetes, have clotting problems & eating disorders. Sorry, that's all I found.
