Phentermine...does it work as well the second time around?
I've been prescribed phentermine by my doctor a couple of months ago. I took about 2 months worth and now I've currently been off it for about a month. I lost almost 20 lbs during the 2 months by using phentermine. I got off of it during the past month when i was really busy traveling and didn't have much time to work out so I've gained some weight back. I had one more refill and began taking it about a week ago and I feel like the pills are working as well as they did the first time. Does the second time just not work as well? And is it even worth taking if I won't get the results I want like I did with the first prescription?
If phentermine has worked you before, there is no reason why it won't work for you again, unless your body has developed a tolerance to it already. in your case, wherein you stopped taking it for a month, it is similar to taking it for the first time because of the "break" of a month.
However, just make sure you do not exceed the given number of months to avoid developing a tolerance to it.
