Does Hoodia work and will it work for me?

I've been eating right and exercising since June... I'm 150lbs and 5'1"... When I started I was 156 and of course it's September now... I'm getting really upset because it is taking me so long to lose weight. I eat 1000 to 1200 calories a day and I do cardio for a hour and strength training for 30 to 40 a day at least five times a week.... I'm trying to get down to 125 again (it was my healthiest and best looking weight).... I'm really not stressed or depressed and I'm a vegetarian... I've been to the doctor and they say i'm healthy but I need to lose a little weight to be even better.... Do you think Hoodia will help me speed up my weight loss so I can lose those two pounds a week.... If I could at least lose two pounds a week I could handle that.... I have the motivation but I NEED HELP!!!!! Desperate college students wants her old body back!!!!
Oh and if there are other diet pills out there that work tell me (as long as they aren't 100 dollars a bottle.... i'm a college student remember hahaha)

I'm 15 and ive tried hoodia..didnt work for me, but then again everyone is different so you never know!
At the moment i am using Slim Quick Extreme..its working a little bit but not all that much. (If you want to try they are cheap at any drugstore ect.)
But I know this also, and you should too..that diet pills dont really work, theyre bad for you and if they do help you lose weight, once you are off them you will most likely gain it all back. I know you dont want to hear a lecture, but i am just telling you the truth..even though i am stupid and use them anyways in hope of losing weight haha.
Also, when you are hungry try to eat vegetables instead (i know its hard) I'm in the same position as you.. except for the college thing lol.
